Wings should have bones removed to cut shipping weight and cost. Please sprinkle removal site with borax or salt after bones have been removed.

Tail Fans need to be cut long in a complete clump encasing all of the bronze banded feathers on the back of the turkey. It is better to include more of the tail rather than less if you are not sure!

Shipping costs will be re-imbursed IN FULL if you pack well. 

Make sure the box you use is not way too big. All carriers now charge extra for packages with dimensions over 1 cubic foot. You may need to reduce the size of the box to prevent shifting in transit that might damaging the feathers inside.

While I don't need the tail fan or wings spread out, you don't want to bend or crush them in a box that is way too small either. Choose a box that will comfortably hold the items shipped to prevent damage to feathers because of crowding, bending and roughing. Not too big or small!!
